Shrine History
The first game was played in 1954 at Holman Stadium in Nashua, NH on Labor Day-September 6th, 1954. $4,500 was given to the hospitals and in the following years over $4,500,000 has been given to the three hospitals.
The Game is sponsored by three Shrine Centers, Mt. Sinai in Montpelier, VT, Cairo in Rutland, VT, and Bektash in Concord, NH, and sanctioned by Imperial Council, Tampa, FL. The Board of Governor's manage all aspects of the game.
